Our normal business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday. Routine orders received prior to 3:30 p.m. CT will be shipped the same day. Next day and second day delivery is available. You may pick up your order at our customer service counter from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
ON-LINE ORDERING: Our convenient on-line ordering system is now available for all our standard products. Pricing on-line is our standard pricing. If your company has special pricing considerations with us, your price will be adjusted as necessary when the order is transmitted to us. Ames Supply Company does not share customer information with any third party. "Cookies" used on this site are to keep track of customer purchases and to use for our marketing efforts. Credit card numbers are encrypted in the software of the site and are not kept in clear text on any web site. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
SHIPPING: Most orders are shipped the same day, F.O.B. our warehouse or point of origin. Damages must be reported to the carrier at time of delivery.
    
PAYMENT TERMS: Our terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice. Orders are shipped C.O.D. - cash, check, or money order. To open an account, simply fill out our credit application and mail, fax, or e-mail it to our office. Your orders will be shipped C.O.D. while we promptly process your application. If you prefer, you may use any of these credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS CLUB.
RETAIL SALES TAX EXEMPTION: If you qualify for a retail tax exemption, we must have a copy of your Certificate of Exemption on file. If we do not have a copy of this document on file, we are obligated to assess any state taxes on all of your purchases.
PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION: Material Safety Data Sheets are shipped with your order as required. In the event you require additional copies, contact your Ames Representative.
PRODUCT RETURN POLICY: All returns require prior authorization. Call toll-free to obtain your R.A. (Return Authorization) Number and proper shipping instructions. To expedite your return, be sure the R.A. Number is prominently displayed on your carton(s). Returned merchandise must be received in resalable condition, complete in the original carton(s) and shipped prepaid. To receive proper credit, products must be returned to Ames within 30 days. Merchandise incorrectly ordered by customer is subject to a 15% restocking charge.
AMES GUARANTEE: Manufacturers' warranties will apply where available. Ames will not be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages, including lost profits.
